I hope
that the case of Gareth Bale has brought home to people quite how
wildly unlikely a war over Gibraltar is.
At any given time, the number
of British passport-holders in Spain is enormous. For much of the year,
it is colossal.
Oh, and that naval exercise? It is a joint one. With the
Spanish.

We couldn't defend it against a armoured jet ski.
