Just how bad must life be in Croatia, if they sincerely feel that they would be better off in the EU?

    Is it the people of Croatia or their politicians who want desperately to join the EU ? I may be cynical but most (all) of these moves to join the EU club seem to be driven by politicians who see the gravy train and wish to climb aboard.
