Come Back, Martha Kearney?

All right, so Woman's Hour is obviously not aimed at me. But Kearney's questions to David Cameron and David Davis about coffee, underwear and reality television seem almost competent compared to Jane Garvey's prizing out of Gordon Brown of how many bananas he eats each day.

And on The World At One, Kearney allowed Vera Baird to explain that, as is almost never mentioned, fully fifty-eight per cent of rape trials end in a conviction, while for no other offence whatever does anyone count, never mind report, the total number of allegations ever made in order to, essentially, fabricate a frighteningly low conviction rate for their own political and pecuniary ends.
