ReplyDeleteOr by overly-idealistic young vegetarians. I had never had or wanted veal until I watched a very emotional anti-veal film in college. It made me cry, but it also gave me cravings.
Poor little calves. They really are tender and creamy, just like PETA said.
Remember those demonstrations against exports for veal? They'd all have had their bacon, eggs and sausages first. I bet they ate chicken, too. Like those who protest against shooting.
