  1. hooray Marvellous idea - if this goes ahead though and for some reason CPS were right (not just got at) whats to stop them coming back at us for the shirts off our backs for costs. After all you can guarantee that the public purse will be funding their lawyers one way or another!

  2. I don't think any British jury is ever going to acquit Tony Blair, regardless of the specific charge before it. And he'll therefore take down with him whoever is accompanying him in the dock.

    In fact, he and they might even plead guilty in order to escape a custodial sentence, and as part of some deal to speed up State funding and a second chamber "elected" from closed party lists. As part of which, they'd then expect, and receive, a Royal Pardon.
