Yes, you read aright. As of today, there is not even a target for the maximum amount of time that you or yours ought to have spend in A&E, or indeed in the ambulance or corridor outside A&E, before being seen.
The NHS is being run into the ground, so that its model can be declared to have failed, and so that its already well-advanced, but barely reported, privatisation can be completed. Do you recall being asked to vote on that?
