Watch out for the British critics of Betsy DeVos.

She may or may not be qualified, although which politician ever is?

She may or may not have bought the votes of numerous of the Senators who voted to confirm her nomination, although again something very much like that is hardly unusual.

But her specific policies are those of Tony Blair and of his various Education Secretaries.

Those were the policies that Michael Gove brought back after the Brown interlude, and which Tristram Hunt therefore failed to oppose in any way whatever.

If Jeremy Corbyn were to be removed as Leader of the Labour Party, then that party would revert to the policies of Betsy DeVos.
