Islington Man

If, as seems increasingly likely, Jeremy Corbyn beats Liz Kendall in the first round of voting, then will we see irreconcilable Blairite ultras putting up against at least those MPs who nominated him? If not, why not?

Corbyn had probably not been intending to contest the 2020 Election, which will take place a few days before his seventy-first birthday. Yet he is now on for a major advisory role, probably along with someone like Alan Johnson and someone like Jon Cruddas.

Let the campaign start here, Dan Hodges for Islington North. Put up or shut up.
