Cut Off The TTIP

Of course the NHS is not going to be exempted from the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership. What would be the point of that?

Come on, Ed Miliband, Andy Burnham and the Labour Party. Rule out the TTIP once and for all, and force a Commons vote this month or next, saying no to the whole idea of the thing.

  1. Excellent news-Britain's economy has risen to the 9th most competitive economy in the world and has won praise for its "extraordinary and bold" monetary policies, competitive corporate tax rate and "gains in lower levels of fiscal defecit and public debt".

But taxes are still too high here-which is why, as UKIP says, we need a flat rate of tax and an immediate corporation tax cut.

    1. I don't know who you plan to vote for, then. UKIP is now opposed to a flat tax, and the Tories always used to ridicule them as hard as Labour did for believing in it.

No one out in the real world believes a word of these figures. The most recent polls would translate into a Labour majority of 90. Most people probably think that these figures, if they think about them at all, are made up by the Government's public school mates.

  2. The Government is of course against tax cuts-most of 'austerity' measures have taken the form of higher taxes.

That's the 'austerity' the Left likes.

UKIP has the solution-use public spending cuts to...fund tax cuts.

Thereby transferring wealth from the unproductive to the productive sector of the economy.

How about that for a revolutionary idea?
