The Government's solution to Fixed Odds Betting Terminals is to become a profiteer from them, as Tom Watson has already pointed out.
But apart from that, the Budget is not worth discussing.
Yesterday's polls projected an overall majority of 104 for the man whom we are all supposed not to want as Prime Minister.
Tomorrow's polls will still show a comfortable Labour lead, and nothing approaching the 10-point lead that the Conservatives would need for an overall majority of one.

ReplyDeleteNot to anything like the necessary extent. Labour has now been ahead in every poll for years, and would in any case have a comfortable majority with a one-point lead on the day.
