EU To "Ban" Hezbollah?

No doubt, they are shaking in their shoes.

Thanks to the EU, we are being legislated for by, among other unsavoury people, those who continue to believe the Provisional Army Council to be the sovereign body throughout Ireland, and who at least into the very recent past were acting on that belief.

When Turkey gets in, both her Islamists and the Kemalists will be legislating for us, and neither of those sits in coalition with, among other Christians, ethnic Armenians. Whereas Hezbollah is doing that right now.

This is all a very great deal more pressing than any essentially meaningless "ban" on Hezbollah.

  1. It will be interesting to see what relations the EU will choose to have with a post-Assad Syria if it is run by the only possible current alternative to that man.
