Hysterics from the usual suspects that the West Bank village of Taybeh is holding its annual beer festival. How very un-Islamic! See, they are becoming Israeli!
Taybeh has an entirely Christian population, and has had one since before there was any Islam, since the days when Palestine as a whole was an integral part of Christian Syria.
But no one must ever know about such things.
I for one will raise a glass in solidarity with the Taybeh Beer Festival, the seed of a once and future civilisation.
