Militant Secularists

According to Nick Cohen, there aren't any.

But the party of Avigdor Lieberman, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Israel, is extremely secular. Vichy-like, it wishes to denaturalise (and then what?) the Arabs and the ultra-Orthodox Jews.

Neoconservatism was and is a fiercely secular project to use the force of arms in order to conform the world to a blueprint designed by and for liberal-leftist New York, which is one of the most secular milieux on earth.

Exactly how religious what Cohen terms "Hindu nationalism" really is or is not, is very much a moot point. But its adherents strongly support Cohen's preferred foreign policies.

There are plenty more such examples, not only from history, but from today's world.
