Sadr Happiness

In Lebanon, the Saudi-funded side is backed by Israel and the by neocons against the Melkites of the Skaff Bloc, against the Armenians of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, against the broad Christian base of the Solidarity Party, against the Maronites of El Marada (yes, it really is called that) and of General Aoun's (yes, General Aoun's) Free Patriotic Movement, and against their Hezbollah allies for whom prayers are offered in Catholic and Orthodox churches.

And now, in Iraq, it is a prominent Shi'ite cleric who defends the Assyrian and other persecuted Christians and who appeals to them for an alliance against their persecutors, persecutors backed by Israel and the neocons while funded by Saudi Arabia.

But it is in Iran that Armenians and Assyrians have reserved parliamentary representation, the Iran that, when they are not pretending to care about single deaths there, the neocons want to nuke, ordered on both by Israel and by Saudi Arabia. "Jundullah"? Did someone say, "Jundullah"?

Truly, the Axis of Evil.

  1. Great post, really spot on. Israel was also friendly with the Taliban because they are fiercely anti-Shi'ite and thus fiercely anti-Iranian.
