Eureka?

Honestly, you really would have thought that somewhere with a population the size of California's would have been able to do better than Fiorina v Boxer.

Oh, well, at least there is still Jerry Brown, fiscal conservative.

    Well, the problem is that we are not given better choices; part of that is because we don't LOOK for better choices!

    Example: As much as Governor Gray Davis was disliked, his opponent Bill Simon was worse enough for Davis to be reelected. And immediately after his reelection, Davis is recalled and replaced with an actor! Another actor as governor! I guess Californians have a habit of putting entertainers into office whenever possible, but it's not like the rest of the Union is any better...

    A remedy for this is that we stop looking at political, corporate, or entertainment elites to be our leaders, but those are the only ones who have the money and publicity to win elections! So much for democracy...
