Neighbourhood Watch

If the Afghan Government is being funded by Iran, then Iran should demand adherence to her own standards with regard to women and to religious minorities. No one else is ever going to bring about those advances there. We now know that for a fact.

I am worried this could be spun as another reason why we will have to stay in Afghanistan indefinitely. There are already some folks saying the American military will have to stay longer in Iraq because the Iraqi military is too weak to defend the country against foreign threats such as, you guessed it, Iran, even though Iran has not attacked another country in over 200 years.
