Veiled From Me
France's impending, and in principle most welcome, law against face-covering will for some reason prescribe much higher sentences than for the wearer for any male family member who is held to have compelled her to besport herself thus attired. Since when were little girls dressed by men? Since when did teenage girls dress to please their fathers? And since were grown women anything other than fully responsible for how they dressed?
