What a gruesome cover, rank propaganda at its worst. These kinds of stunts are why I no longer read the major American news magazines.
As Mr. Lindsay notes, Afghan women are already suffering under the present "government," which is really just an coalition of warlords, many of whom have human rights records as bad as the despicable Taliban.
Largely, if not entirely, the same people.
