Playing Fields and Battlefields

Just as, like most politicians, Michael Gove has "picked last for games" (all the best people were) written all over him, so, like most politicians, he has "would fail Basic Training" written all over him.

His demand for schools to "bring back" the competitive sport that they never gave up is hilarious and grotesque. His enthusiasm for sending off other people's offspring to die in pointless wars is only one of those things.

Again, like most politicians.
