It does not fund abortion, and it is likely to reduce the number of abortions.
Though not as much as would the public option or a single-payer system, especially if accompanied by the Stupak Amendment. The work has begun. But it has not yet ended.
You can read the Constitution as if it were the Qur'an. You can read the Bible as if it were the Bible. But you cannot do both.

ReplyDeleteGood point. There is a reason the Founding Fathers left the American Constitution vague in some areas. They were crafting a document that was supposed to be flexible enough to last for a long time, through the changes that time brings.
