Undue Prominence

Radio One is nothing but one long commercial break for the presenters' and producers' mates? Surely not?

It is odd to be reminded of the continued existence of Radio One, like coming across in a supermarket a brand one had assumed discontinued years ago. By all accounts, it is now strictly a ghost brand. But without a Radio One, we could not have a Radio Two, a Radio Three or a Radio Four. And then, where would we be?
