"Exonerated" (His Honour Judge Nathan Adams, Durham Crown Court, 8 May 2025). Two-time political prisoner. Beaten up in prison, so I fear only God. Activist, journalist, hymn-writer, emerging thinktanker, aspiring novelist, "tribal elder", 2019 parliamentary candidate for North West Durham, Shadow Leader of the Opposition, "Speedboat", "The Cockroach".
Seemingly five minutes of exposure in Big Brother or the like leads to bigger things.
ReplyDeleteThe latest to follow Esther Rantzen into politics is John Smeaton, who will be standing in Mick Martins old Glasgow constituency. He was the baggage handler who tackled the terrorist at Glasgow Airport.
I am not a fan of Big Brother...Celebrity or otherwise but I think voting people INTO the House is a better concept than voting them OUT of the House.
As a novelty we could pretend to them that they are being watched daily......but the joke would be on them because there would be no cameras.
Should suit self publicists.
I nominate Ann Widdicombe.
