Boycott Israel?

You'd only hurt the people whom you were trying to help.

But boycott the produce of the West Bank settlements? If you can be sure of identifying it, I suppose.

  1. I never buy Israeli goods.
And I was a supporter of boycotting Seth Effriken produce.

  2. But the Arabs are the working class in Israel, just as the blacks, and many of the Coloureds and Indians, were the working class in South Africa.

  3. There was and is a large white working class in Seth Effrikka.
The ANC (who I know you dont like) were calling for the boycott. They appear to be the voice of the majority in South africa.
The old regime had to brought down (just as Israels occupation needs to end) and that omelettes are not made without breaking eggs.

Nowhere near the size of the non-white one.

Far more was done in practice by the non-racial (but largely white, and also Coloured and Indian), non-Marxist, non-violent, pro-Commonwealth opposition.

The ANC in government has been, and is, a disaster.

  6. I've no doubt that the ANC got the most vote, but I don't think anyone seriously believes that it got as many votes as were declared for it.

It belongs to a past age, and should be disbanded so that proper parties can emerge in its place.
