Unite and Fight

British jobs for British workers (who might be any colour, and might originally come from anywhere), and all that.

The EU is the manifest enemy of everything that the Left really stands for, and all that.

But why is anyone trying to build a gas power station in Nottinghamshire at all?

Re-open the pits.

  1. Did you ever hear back from Tim Gatt? I've seen a few other bloggers do pieces to camera for sky news, including a friend of a friend, and she said Tim helped set that up as well - apparently that's his thing, using influential bloggers on sky news. Its a wonderful opportunity.

  3. But that's a bit passive, isn't it? If you want to get ahead, you need to be pushing yourself out there. He made contact in the first instance, so it wouldn't be a cold call - but next time there's a story about public ownership, give him a call and suggest you could have something useful to contribute to a discussion. Push yourself forward!

  5. You really should - sky et al have a lot of airtime to fill, and they're always on the lookout for knowledgeable talking heads. You know you're read by them (no surprise, I bet the bbc et al read you as well), so make the most of it. And there must be so many opportunities to do so in the next few weeks and months.

  6. Oh, I know that the BBC read me. I get "keep it up" emails from BBC addresses surprisingly frequently.

I'll ring Tim Gatt next week. If he tells me to f-off, then it'll be your fault!
