Those are the same people who faked evidence of WMD in Iraq, who failed to spot the 7/7 bombings coming, and well over ninety per cent of whose targets are never charged, but who noisily "foil" "plots" to blow up Manchester United, or to poison London with ricin, or what have you, whenever they want an extension to their own powers.

Expect them to go into overdrive now that their precious identity cards, indefinite detention without charge (not trial, charge) and control orders are all under threat. But don't believe a word of it.
