The glorious strikes may deplete the numbers at tomorrow's Hands Around Parliament, which will be one of many human chains, in many countries, in support of Julian Assange. So if you were at all able to make it to Westminster for one o'clock, then I implore you to do so.
As a Commonwealth citizen who is not serving a term of imprisonment either in the United Kingdom or in the Republic of Ireland, Assange is eligible to contest an election to the British House of Commons from anywhere in the world. He should therefore do so against Keir Starmer.
