Not On Her Terms

It is entirely reasonable, both to have opposed David Cameron's terms for remaining in the European Union, and to oppose Theresa May's terms for leaving the European Union.

There is no sign of that extra £350 million per week for the NHS.

With that, May's Bennite anti-Thatcherism would have been worth considering.

But without it, that is simply not the case.

The voters will see it the same way.

  1. The parliamentary vote will never happen and nor will Brexit. May looked completely shattered giving that speech and could be invalided out of Downing St. on doctor's orders.

No, it isn't. Leaving the Single Market, as the Government has pledged to do, is the only way to leave the EU.

If the EU punishes us, as May says, we'll slash our corporation taxes and invite their businesses over here.

If Parliament votes down the deal, we'll just leave the EU and revert to WTO rules.

At the ensuing election, the millions of voters who suffer from that will be sure to punish those MPs who voted it down.

    She's worked it out brilliantly.

    1. Even she's cleverer than that. But you're not, which is why you believe it.
