Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts

It is fundamental to trade unionism that no one should be physically assaulted at work.

Of course those who dish it out should expect it back. But last night in Bristol was not Orgreave, or even Clapham Common.

And everything was a breach of the existing law. None of it made the case for the proposed new law, which would in fact make such events more likely.
