Blatant Disregard

With any luck, the BBC, and Kirsty Wark personally, are about to be sued to Kingdom Come by Alex Salmond, even before they are brought before the criminal courts for contempt.

But lucky Eck, that he had to be convicted beyond reasonable doubt. Admittedly under a different legal system, the jury that tried me was directed by the judge to "disregard" the concept of conviction beyond reasonable doubt.

Yes, that was the word used. "Disregard". I shall always be grateful to Peter Hitchens for raising the matter in his column. He says that it was one of two such cases to have been brought to his attention that week. Perhaps we might have done better in Scotland.

  1. Keir Starmer’s latest Loony Left policy is changing the law to introduce “all-BAME shortlists” for MPs. Even socialist Sweden hasn’t gone that far.

When will people realise what Peter Hitchens has written for years-that, far from being “centrist” the Blairites are more leftwing than Corbyn?

    1. The Conservatives have been doing this for decades. Yes, formally, officially, and as a matter of policy. In its own terms, it has been a success.

"Left-wing" is not "anything with which you or Peter Hitchens might happen to disagree".
