Oliver Kamm, since you are a Starmer supporter, if you were to be the Labour candidate here at North West Durham next time (and they still cannot find one for this highly marginal seat), then I would put up as an Independent again.
You could have the Labour nomination here with one tweet: "In support of @Keir_Starmer, I am the @UKLabour candidate at North West Durham, there being no other. @NWDurhamLabour @CoDurhamLabour @RicHolden @TheNorthernEcho @itvtynetees @BBCLN"
Get it tweeted. Go on. I dare you. Put up or shut up. A daily update will appear here until you do.
But maybe he doesn't want to be MP for North West Durham. Lots of people don't.
ReplyDeleteI am told that he has a curious obsession with the place, never missing an opportunity to tweet his scorn for Laura Pidcock at her having lost it. He has no connection to this area, so far as I know, but this is his opportunity to do any better.
DeleteHe isn't scorning Laura Pidcock for losing the seat, he is usually scorning her for continuing to defend the leadership of Jeremy Corbyn even though that's why most voters say they didn't vote Labour this time.
DeleteNo, it wasn't, or they wouldn't have voted Labour in 2017. It was Brexit, which was Starmer's fault. Corbyn's for giving in to him. But primarily Starmer's.
DeleteI am no longer on Twitter, but I do keep being told that Kamm is quite preoccupied with Pidcock.
