Regulation, Authority

Oh, well, Fiona Onasanya's conviction, while it stands, does make some sort of action by the Solicitors Regulation Authority inevitable.

But Onasanya would never have been charged in relation to a traffic infraction if she had not offended the Crown Prosecution Service three times over, by her left-wing rather than Liberal Establishment politics, by its roots in her uppity blackness, and by the roots of that in a Christianity that dared to proclaim the Old Testament of Jesus Christ to be the Old Testament of Jesus Christ. With those offences was she charged. Of those offences was she convicted. For those offences was she imprisoned. And for those offences is she continuing to be hounded.

Then again, this minority government will have paired Onasanya throughout her month in prison. Even Her Majesty's Government, and even the party from which Onasanya took her seat by a mere 607 votes, hold her conviction in that level of contempt. Notice that no attempt has been made, by anyone at all, to invoke the power of the House of Commons to expel a Member.

There has been no such attempt, by anyone, even though Stewart Jackson, whom she so narrowly defeated, would have been a stalwart of the European Research Group if he had still been in the House. Jackson appears to have been out of work since David Davis, to whom he was Chief of Staff and Special Adviser, resigned from the Cabinet as long ago as last July. But has his convicted and imprisoned successor at Peterborough been expelled in order to get him back into Parliament? There has been no such attempt. By anyone. Believing in the guilt of Fiona Onasanya is clearly a mark of being below the salt. I know whereof I speak.

Onasanya only did a month inside, the Attorney General refused to try and have her sentence increased, she is allowed to use the Internet, and she is apparently even allowed into the United States. The criminal justice system itself clearly does not believe in this conviction. In my experience, no part of it much likes any of the others, and they all pretty openly despise the CPS, in particular. As we see here, in fact. Or as you have been able to see on this site every day for the last two years. Look at the things that I have written, and which I shall continue to write. Then consider that I have never been remanded in custody. I have never even been held overnight. Nor will I ever be.

As to Onasanya, you only have to be the First Past the Post. I would not be at all surprised if she were to win a by-election. More broadly, another hung Parliament is coming, and we need our people to hold the balance of power in it, with its left-wing rather than Liberal Establishment politics, with its roots in our uppity blackness (if that is how you treat us, then that is what we are), and with the roots of that in a Christianity that dared to proclaim the Old Testament of Jesus Christ to be the Old Testament of Jesus Christ.

It has become a local commonplace that I am on 30-30-30 with Labour and the Conservatives here at North West Durham, so that any one of us could be the First Past the Post. I will stand for this seat, if I can raise the £10,000 necessary to mount a serious campaign.
