Money Down The Drain

The privatised water companies commissioned a right-wing think tank to look into water renationalisation, and you will never guess what conclusion it has reached.

If Cape Town is running out of water, then it is looking to the guidance of the Old Country, where the drier areas have water shortages every year. Had Labour won the 1979 General Election, then there was going to be a National Grid for water. But instead, we got privatisation.

Oh, well, 2022 it is, then. Better late than never.
