Jeremy Corbyn was in Consett today, and good for him. But who was in Tehran, having landed there moments after tweeting that he would not be leaving without Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe? Just so long as someone sufficiently prominent does this, then I no longer care who it is. But I still wish that it had been, and that it yet will be, Jeremy Corbyn, shaming Boris Johnson while making it perfectly clear which of them deserved to be Prime Minister.

Who was Corbyn in Consett to protect, and protect them against who or what?
ReplyDeleteIf you were in Parliament, you'd be making that flight. That's why we need you in Parliament, to do that kind of thing nobody else will.
ReplyDeleteCorbyn will do anything for Laura Pidcock apart from give her a job, no matter how lowly. Maybe you could name her as your Parliamentary Private Secretary since she has not been made anybody's else's? Interesting that Corbyn feels any need to come here and shore her up. Isn't this supposed to be a safe seat?
ReplyDeleteIf Jeremy doesn't bring Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe home, someone else will. But only he can save Laura Pidcock from the angry CLP that was never asked if it wanted her and from the angry voters a third of whom she openly hates in her bones.
