      Well, yes. One of the better ones, in fact.

      All of the most horrifying mental images are fictional. But they are no less real for that. This is one such.

      There are more bonkers statements than this in her own published diaries, notably the claim that Gillian Shepherd was appointed to the Cabinet for looking like Edwina Currie without being her. Currie sincerely believed that, and no doubt she still does.
