The knives are out for CareConfidential.
On yesterday's Woman's Hour, Dame Jenni Murray accused CareConfidential of being "what in America would be called pro-life", apparently oblivious to the fact that both the Chairman and the Secretary of the All-Party Parliamentary Pro-Life Group were Labour MPs, while its Clerk was a Labour Councillor. Yes, in London.
And the knives were both sharpened and wielded by one of that programme's several very special friends, the ghastly Brook operation.

In February 1980, Helen Brook wrote in The Times:
"From
birth till death it is now the privilege of the parental State to take major
decisions - objective, unemotional, the State weighs up what is best for the
child."
In 1995, she was given the CBE. The Conservative Party was not at
that time in coalition with the Liberal Democrats or anyone else.
Andy Burnham is a practising Catholic. He should promise no longer to fund Brook. We live in hope.
