Cardinal Truths

  1. Poor Nichols.

I think its a "disgrace" to splash hard-working people's money on election bribes, bankrupt our economy and charge the debt to our grandchildren.

Presumably Nichols thinks it is moral to bribe people at elections, leave us in crippling national debt and charge the bill to our children.

What happened to Burke's idea of society (including public spending) as a contract between the dead, the living and those yet to be born?

Not just a free-for-all which we leave future generations to pay for.

In many societies, kids overspend and land their parents with the bill.

In our society, the parents go mad and land their children with the tax bill.
