Much comment on Anders Behring Breivik's favourable quotations from the Daily Mail column of Melanie Phillips. But Melanie Phillips is nowhere near any centre of power.
Whereas Breivik also quotes favourably from the Sun and Sunday Times contributions of Jeremy Clarkson. Yet there is little or no comment on that.
How odd.
Remind me, who owns the Sun and the Sunday Times? And of which very prominent politician indeed is Clarkson not only a near neighbour, but also a very close personal friend?

A very warm welcome back.
ReplyDeleteGreat to read him again, isn't it, Telegraph reader? That site's absurd editor is now in an untenable position, having threatended to sue David about a month ago and since then ... nothing! Why ever could that be? So David is back in the comments showing them what they are missing. Telegraph blogs is now beyond parody, regime change could not be more urgent.
ReplyDeleteNearly a month ago it was supposed to be a matter of days. It would have done little enough for his credibility then, if he tried it now he would not be able to walk down the street without being laughed at by children, dogs and pigeons. Did he have a drugs bust and a visit from social services over his computer on the same morning, or does that only happen to your enemies on the days when you are under general anaesthetic on an operating table? An old fashioned player, a true operator, the one and only Mr David Lindsay.
