Security

We can easily save our UN Security Council seat. It cannot be taken away without our consent, and the French will in any case never give up theirs, saving ours in the process. But we still need to cover our backs. And here are the three ways of doing so.

First, we need to establish that we use our seat in close consultation with all those other countries with which we share a Head of State. There are 15 of those, only three of which are either First World or predominantly white.

Secondly, we need to establish that we use our seat in close consultation with all those other countries which are predominantly Christian and which do not have seats of their own. This will cement even further our ties with the West Indies and the Pacific. And it will create such ties with the emerging powerhouses of Africa and Latin America.

And thirdly, we should cancel Son of Trident and withdraw from the pointless NATO, reasserting control over our own foreign policy and defence capability, and establishing ourselves as the leader of the non-nuclear, diplomatically and defensively independent world – the overwhelming majority.
