To Make Matters Worse

You would have thought that things were bad enough already, but the suggestion that the pay of each member of an MP's staff should be set by the Fees Office based on "qualifications and experience" is a proposal to make matters even worse. "Qualified and experienced" compared to what and to whom? And why? The likes of the Old Harrovian Conway brothers could expect a hell of a lot more than eleven grand. But anyone state school and either "non-graduate" or just non-Oxbridge would be lucky to make that, due to being "unqualified and inexperienced".
