Reminder

Torture (if you doubt this, then ask the Republican Presidential nominee), hearsay, a "military commission" that isn't even a court martial, and then capital punishment.

Remind me again what they (I refuse to say "we") are supposed to be fighting for, and what against?

The BBC had a thing about public executions in Iran last night, although there was no suggestion that those being executed were not serious and remorseless criminals who would be considered such anywhere, including here.

What was shown was in fact exactly what is advocated by those to whom the Beeb seems to be sucking up: the cheerleaders for war against Iran, who are also the cheerleaders for torture, floggings, amputations and executions at home.

Remind me again what they (I refuse to say "we") are supposed to be fighting for, and what against?
