But Why Are They In Any Danger?

The Lords of the Blogosphere are still trying to enforce their party line over the Iraqi “translators”. As Neil Clark asks, if the “liberation” of Iraq is so popular, then why are they in any danger at all? Why are they not being lauded as heroes by the Iraqi people?

  1. Why is the question of why they are in danger relevant to the question of whether they deserve protection? I'm genuinely interested.

  2. It goes to the heart of whether the invasion of Iraq really was a "liberation", and thus of the moral status of those Iraqis who "co-operate" with it.
