Never Mind The Waffle

Belgium was always our principal ally and trading partner on the Continent. In 1914, we went to war to defend it. There were other factors at play, but that was not a mere pretext.

And today, of all days, we have deployed a specialist Royal Air Force team to defend Belgium from "rogue drones", assumed to be Russian. Look at a map. How, exactly, did those drones reach Belgium, and why did nothing in between interest those controlling them?

  1. The UK military couldn't take the drones down above Lakenheath - so I am not sure what they can do in Belgium.
