And now, the man responsible, Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, is seeing to that those whom he ordered and paid are themselves to be "tried" and executed.
Not to cover his tracks, but the very reverse. To show the world that he can.
We arm these people. We train them. We share intelligence with them.
And they in turn inspire, fund, train, arm and inform the people who set off bombs on our own streets.
Another hung Parliament is coming, however, and we need our people to hold the balance of power in it.
