Little Good Hope In The Cape?

Cyril Ramaphosa, you say? The Butcher of Marikana? Ho, hum, it would be healthy, after all these years, to move on from de facto one-party rule by what was once, a long time ago, the liberation movement.

Of course, South Africa, like Zimbabwe, brings on the nervous tics of the unreconciled white supremacists in the Conservative Party and its newspapers. But they know nothing about Africa, anyway. Ignore them.

Meanwhile, attendees at the Durham Miners' Gala, and readers of the Morning Star, have been waiting for this for quite some time. Never mind speakers at the Durham Miners' Gala, and writers on the Morning Star. For example, Jeremy Corbyn.
