The Party of Law and Order?

Flatly refusing to fill in a tax return for 24 years is not mere avoidance.

From tax evasion to foxhunting (although I still resent how Tony Blair and Hilary Armstrong sold the Iraq War by means of the hunting ban for which they themselves did not vote, but that is the past), the Conservative Party is now the political wing of a subculture that is defined by its open and organised criminality.

Aided and abetted by everyone from Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs to Her Majesty's Constabulary. It gives me no pleasure to write this about a key part of the public sector trade union family, but mere accident of location seems to determine whether the Police are the security guards and general dogsbodies of the hunts, or of the major sports and especially football clubs, or of the Murdoch papers.
