Lord Freud was not in the House of Lords today, although he was due to answer routine Ministerial Questions.
He was not on radio or television all day, either.
The absolute proof that he is unfit to be a Minister is that he is unable to account for himself.
But his perfectly accurate comment is ironically the best argument for having a mandatory minimum wage.
