There are 300 practising Catholics on the Falkland Islands, 100 times the number of votes against remaining a British Overseas Territory (the Gibraltarians and the Chagos Islanders are staunchly Catholic, by the way).
They don't care where the Pope comes from, because the Pope is the Pope is the Pope. And they want this one to visit them when he is next in the neighbourhood.
