I wouldn't dream of linking to Melanie Phillips's Spectator blog post about Chilcott. But it does contain this:

"Why aren’t there calls for an inquiry into the ‘illegal’ war in Kosovo which was undertaken with no basis in any UN resolutions at all?"

Why not, indeed...?

    I read the whole of that Melanie Phillips post without knowing who it was by. It's an excellent piece, and I agreed with every word. You can imagine the genuine physical shudder with which I reacted when I got to the bottom and saw who I was agreeing with.

    She's good on drugs (so to speak) and on education. But certainly not on Iraq.

    In my experience, she isn't good on anything. Hence the shock when she was, on this occasion.
