Good Riddance To Peter Tatchell

I am very sorry that he is so ill. But he wants to lower the age of consent to 14. And what was "homophobic" about the campaign against him by Simon Hughes? Except perhaps in homosexual subcultures, "straight" only meant "honest" in those days, and indeed for a long time thereafter.

    But have we discovered the real reason why you might not stand? Everyone knows that you have been ill. You have talked about it on here. There's no shame in it.

    There was nothing homophobic about his campaign against Simon Hughes. Hughes' campaign against him, however, was pretty nasty.
