Like the Remainers across the board, the Conservative Leavers were and are a bunch of fairylanders who cannot see the point of trade in goods. Or, therefore, in the manufacture of them.
Only the pro-Leave Left has been calling for reindustrialisation for as long as Britain has been in the EU, and was therefore entirely unsurprised when the areas that had suffered the most from deindustrialisation cast the decisive votes for Leave in the referendum.
